YOUNG ADULT

This vibrant group of young adults at Glen Mar are “post-college,” single, married, with young kids, without kids and everything in between. The main focus of the Young Adult Group is to experience and share life together as we grow in our faith. We are an open group, which just means that we are excited to have new folks join us whenever we get together. There are two “regular” types of gatherings:

Bible Study
When: Usually the 1st and 3rd Monday evening of the month (adjusted for Holidays when necessary)
Location: Room 123 at Glen Mar UMC, 4701 New Cut Rd.
Time: 7pm

Monday Night Dinners
When: The non-Bible study Monday nights.
Location: Varies. Usually somewhere in the Columbia area, often near the Snowden/175/Dobbin area. Each upcoming dinner location is posted on the Young Adult calendar.
Time: 6pm (but we usually stay for a few hours, so drop by whenever you can!)

We also get together for more social gatherings (if it’s possible to be more social than our dinners!) at least once a month. Past events have included: board game night, duck-pin bowling, Field Day, camping, watching a football game, etc….

While most of us attend Glen Mar UMC in Ellicott City, MD, it is certainly not a requirement to join us. If you are interested in joining us you can just drop in on one of our gatherings, or you can email us for more information.
