Note: All volunteer and paid applicants must agree to fingerprinting and a background check.
Paid Positions
- Camp Counselor
- Age: 18yrs and older
- Requirements: We are looking for motivated, high-energy adults who enjoy working with children. Must be willing to serve in various day camp settings. You will be working both indoors and outdoors and with various ages and with children with varied abilities. Must be able to work from June 16th through August 9th. Be able to attend 4 planning sessions that will be scheduled at a later date.
- Training: CPR and First Aid certification is required and can be completed as part of the Summer Camp Training Program at no cost to you. Be available for further training as scheduled by the Minister to Children and Families.
- Before and After Care Camp Counselor
- Age: 18yrs and older
- Requirements: We are looking for high energy, motivated adults who enjoy working with children. You must be willing to serve in various settings and be able to work from June 27th through August 9th (Monday through Friday) from 7am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm. The work schedule can be flexible. Be able to attend 4 planning sessions that will be scheduled at a later date.
- Training: CPR and First Aid certification is required and can be completed as part of the Summer Camp Training Program at no cost to you. Be available for further training as scheduled by the Minister to Children and Families.
- Before and After Care School Counselor
- Age: 18yrs and older
- Requirements: We are looking for high energy, motivated adults who enjoy working with children. You must be willing to serve in various settings and be able to work from August 22nd through out the school year (Monday through Friday) from 7am to 9am and 2pm to 6pm. The work schedule can be flexible. Be able to attend 4 planning sessions that will be scheduled at a later date.
- Training: CPR and First Aid certification is required and can be completed as part of the Summer Camp Training Program at no cost to you. Be available for further training as scheduled by the Minister to Children and Families.
Volunteer Positions
- Counselor in Training (CIT)
- Age: Middle and High School Youth
- Requirements: We are looking for high-energy, motivated youth who enjoy working with younger children. You must be willing to serve in various day camp settings.
- Training: CPR and First Aid certification is recommended and can be completed as part of the Summer Camp Training Program at no cost to you. Training opportunities for CIT's will be available for future positions.
- Adult Volunteer
- Age:18yrs and older (parents, singles, seniors)
- Requirements: We are looking for motivated adults who enjoy working with children. Must be willing to serve in various day camp settings. Willing to serve with the Before and After Camp (or School) Care as a mentor.
- Training: CPR and First Aid certification is recommended and can be completed as part of the Summer Camp Training Program at no cost to you. Be available for further training as scheduled by the Minister to Children and Families.
